The graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Architecture for the 2025–2026 academic year was held at the Itri Congress and Culture Center of Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University.

The ceremony was attended by our Rector, Prof. Uğur Ünal, the senior administration of our University, the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Prof. Ülkü Duman, deans, department heads, academic and administrative staff, students, and the families of our graduates.

The program commenced with the procession of the graduating students. Following a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Prof. Ülkü Duman, delivered the opening speech. Referring to the Faculty’s long-established educational tradition and academic heritage, Prof. Duman stated, “This year, we are delighted to celebrate both the 100th anniversary of our long-established University and the 60th anniversary of our Faculty of Architecture, which was founded in 1966.” Emphasizing the academic legacy passed down through generations, Prof. Duman thanked the faculty members and the families of the graduates for their contributions and support, and wished the graduating students success in their professional careers.

Our Rector, Prof. Uğur Ünal, stated that Gazi University, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary, has served for a century not only as a higher education institution producing knowledge but also as a distinguished center of education that has contributed to the scientific, educational, and development goals of the Republic of Türkiye. Noting that the Faculty of Architecture, through its Departments of Industrial Design, Architecture, and City and Regional Planning, educates not only competent professionals but also individuals who will shape the future, Prof. Ünal said, “Today, our 280 graduates take their first steps into their professional careers as the newest representatives of this academic heritage.”

Expressing his gratitude to the academics who contributed to the education of the graduates, Prof. Ünal also addressed the families, saying, “The pride you experience today is every bit as meaningful as that of our graduates. I sincerely thank you for your patience, sacrifices, and unwavering support throughout your children's important journey.”

The program concluded with the presentation of plaques to the top-ranking students of the Faculty, a speech by the valedictorian, and the traditional cap-tossing ceremony.
