The Green Metric University Sustainability Ranking evaluates and compares sustainability efforts on university campuses worldwide. The evaluation platform was established in 2010 by the University of Indonesia and annually ranks participating universities.

Green Metric, which is a platform, attended by all reputable universities from all over the world, aims to encourage internationalisation, draw attention to sustainability issues and create global awareness to environmental issues and is open to the participation of all higher education institutions around the World.

Every year many universities from different countries are evaluated by the Green Metric in the areas of infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste, water resources, transportation and education. They are scored for each evaluation area and each higher education institution is ranked according to the total points they receive from these evaluations.

In line with these purposes, our university applied to Green Metric for the first time in October this year and participated in the 2020 Green Metric ranking and was awarded with the Green Metric certificate.
