The Neuroscience and Neurotechnology Center of Excellence qualified to serve as a Test Center within the NATO DIANA (Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic) network. Established under the coordination of Gazi University in cooperation with Ankara University and Middle East Technical University, NÖROM will contribute to DIANA’s dual-use innovation ecosystem through its advanced research infrastructure focused on neuroscience and neurotechnology in the fields of health and human performance. Within the scope of test, evaluation, validation and verification (TEVV) activities, it aims to support the development of innovative solutions in areas such as medical and pre-clinical testing, neuroimaging and neurophysiology, and cognitive monitoring under trauma and performance conditions. This step is an important milestone that strengthens NÖROM’s international collaborations and reinforces Türkiye’s strategic role in NATO’s innovation ecosystem.
