The “Certificate Presentation Ceremony of Thanks for Externally Funded Projects Started in 2025,” organized by Gazi University’s Research and Development Coordination Office, was held with high number of participation.

The program, held in the Rectorate Mimar Kemaleddin Hall, was attended by the Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal, the University’s senior management and academics.

The program began with a moment of silence and the singing of the Turkish National Anthem, followed by the opening speech of Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal. He began by discussing the importance of externally funded projects in relation to YÖK and TÜBİTAK, and provided information about projects being carried out at the University.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ünal also stated that the University’s performance over the last three years had improved and noted that the administration would continue doing its utmost to increase the number of projects.

Prof. Dr. Ünal concluded: “For the formation of a project ecosystem throughout Gazi University and the development of the University’s project culture, every project is extremely valuable to us. On this occasion, on behalf of Gazi University, I would like to thank our Research and Development Institutional Coordination Office, our Project Coordination Application and Research Center, our BAP and Press units, and our valued academics who contributed to the organization of this meeting.”

Following the opening speech, the certificate presentation ceremony was held, and the ceremony concluded after group photographs were taken.
