QS Europe University Rankings: Gazi University Maintains Its Strong Position in Europe

The QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) Europe University Rankings is a ranking system that evaluates universities using performance indicators under five main criteria: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per faculty, faculty-to-student ratio, the ratios of international faculty and students, and sustainability.

In the QS Europe University Rankings 2026, Gazi University recorded significant progress on a percentile basis both across Europe and within Türkiye.

Notable Progress in the European Ranking

In the 2026 rankings, which evaluated 958 universities across Europe, our university was placed 286th. In 2025, Gazi University ranked 267th among 658 universities. Due to the 45.6% increase in the number of participating institutions, our university improved its percentile position from 40.6% to 29.9%, successfully entering the top 30% in Europe.

Position in the Türkiye Ranking

In the national ranking, our university maintained its strong position. While Gazi University ranked 10th among 71 Turkish universities in 2025, it was placed 11th among 103 universities in 2026. Despite a 45.1% increase in the number of Turkish universities included in the rankings, the percentile improved from 14.1% to 10.7%, placing Gazi University within the top 11% in Türkiye.
