Gazi University continues to strengthen its internationalization vision in higher education on a global scale. In this context, our University participated in the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo (NAFSA Higher Education Fair), one of the world's largest international education fairs.

The event, held in San Diego, USA between 27-30 May 2025, paved the way for international academic collaborations by bringing together academics, university representatives and education proffesionals from more than 150 countries.

For the first time this year, Turkish universities came together under the roof of the “ Study in Turkey” pavilion and promoted our country’s higher education capacity and academic accumulation on a global scale. 53 Universities and 3 institutions from Turkey took part in this strong representation, which organized under he coordination of the Turkish National Agency.

Gazi University participated in this prestigious organization with Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Hayta, Secretary General Mustafa Afşar, International Relations Institution Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslıhan Selcen Bingöl, International Relations Institution Coordinator Assoc. Assist. R. Kübra Deniz and Murat Tunçbilek, Chief of Staff.

During the fair, representatives of our university held bilateral meetings with universities and institutions from different regions of the world and evaluated cooperation opportunities in academic cooperation, student and staff mobility, joint research projects and exchange programs.

Gazi University's scientific knowledge, effectiveness in international projects and student-oriented approach attracted intense interest throughout the fair. Also, our University had the opportunity to establish direct contact with global academic stakeholders through promotional materials and one-to-one meetings at the “Study in Turkey” stand.

This participation, which we aim to strenghten our international visibility and global collaborations, has an important place in terms of internationalization strategies.
