The "Welcome to the Gazi University Family" program, held in the front garden of the Cultural Center on our university's main campus, took place with a large turnout. Our students, who are newly joining the Gazi University Family for the 2024-2025 academic year, welcomed the new academic year with music performances, folk dance shows, musical groups, DJ performances, lunch, and introduction activities held at student club stands.

Accompanied by Gazi University's Social Affairs and Community Contribution Institutional Coordinator, Advisor to the Rector, Prof. Selami Candan, General Secretary Mustafa Afşar, and Head of the Health, Culture, and Sports Directorate C. Metin Uygur, Rector Prof. Uğur Ünal visited the stands and talked to our newly admitted students.

In his speech, Social Affairs and Community Contribution Institutional Coordinator and Advisor to the Rector Prof. Selami Candan mentioned that there are 198 student clubs at our University and that the University administration fully supports the activities of these clubs, encouraging students to join them. Congratulating all the students who joined our university in the 2024-2025 academic year, Prof. Candan concluded his speech by wishing the new academic year to be beneficial and successful for all members of Gazi University.
