The Presidential Decision regarding the establishment of faculties within some higher education institutions, including Gazi University, and the closure of some faculties and colleges, was published in the Official Gazette.

The Faculty of Nursing was established within Gazi University in line with the decision of the President dated 03/08/2022 and numbered 5919 and in accordance with the additional article 30 of the Law No. 2809 on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions.
