QS is an international rating agency that ranks higher education institutions according to certain criteria. In the QS EECA Ranking, university performances are evaluated according to the main criteria such as academic and employer reputation, number of students and faculty members, number of publications and citations, and internationalization.

Gazi University ranked 71st among 450 universities in the QS EECA 2022 ranking, rising 28 places compared to the previous year. A total of 66 universities from Turkey participated in the QS EECA 2022 ranking. Out of 66 participating universites from Turkey, Gazi Üniversity earned its place among the top 10 universities.
