A new step has been added to the steps taken by our university to become a green and renewable campus. An “Electric Vehicle Charging Station” on the central campus of our university was put into service in the Rectorate car park. The opening of the station, which was established in cooperation with GERSAN A.S. and the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of the Faculty of Technology, was held with the participation of the Vice Rector of our University, Prof. Dr.  Bekir BULUC.

Within the scope of our university's Sustainability Rating "Green Metric", which aims to make a more sustainable and energy-friendly campus area,  studies are continuing to establish different electric vehicle and electric scooter charging systems in and around the area where the electric vehicle charging station is located.
