Our University was very proud at the Opening Ceremony of the 2020-2021 Academic Year of Higher Education held in the Presidential Complex. At the ceremony where the winners of the "Outstanding Achievement Awards of Higher Education Council" were given their award, successful doctoral theses of the year were also awarded within the scope of individual awards.

Instructor Dr. Ayşe Nur Oktay who completed her undergraduate education in 2013 at the Faculty of Pharmacy of our University and her Ph.D. education in 2019 at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, the Institute of Health Sciences of our University and her thesis advisor Prof. Dr. Fatma Nevin Çelebi, retired faculty member of the Faculty of Pharmacy at our University, were awarded with their doctoral thesis on "Development of Dermal-Applied Flurbiprofen Nanosyspansions and In Vitro-In Vivo Evaluation". President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan presented the awards to Dr. Ayşe Nur Oktay and Prof. Dr. Fatma Nevin Çelebi.
