With the aim of raising awareness about the accessibility of individuals with disabilities in higher education institutions to places, educational opportunities and socio-cultural activities and to promote good practices, the 2021 University Accessibility Awards, organised by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), have found their owners. As a result of the evaluations made with the determination of the works carried out in order to ensure the full, effective and equal participation of disabled individuals within the campus boundaries, our University was deemed worthy of the 2021 'Orange Flag' award in the Accessibility in University Space category.
