Two teams of students from AtölyeDüşleDüşlin, led by Prof. Dr. Pınar Dinç Kalaycı, succeeded in entering the shortlist in the Office Design Challenge #2 International architectural idea competition organised by Buildner.
Professionals from Canada, Dubai, London, Denmark, the Netherlands and the USA served as judges in the competition which looks for design projects that use architecture as a tool to improve a worker’s wellbeing as well as their productivity. Outstanding architectural offices and student teams from leading universities from China, Canada, Australia, England, Malaysia, South Korea, Germany, Italy, Argentina, Egypt, Macedonia, New Zealand and Hungary competed with their ideas and with each other.
Department of Architecture students Eda Erkaya, Zeynep Cabbar, Gözde Beyza Kartal and Ceyda Uslu were shortlisted with the "Office'tation" project that they produced in the context of the earthquake-affected Adıyaman province while students Tuğçe Gül, Sude Berfin Çevik, Emre Sezer and Sümeyye Özelçi entered the list with the “Offisea” project that they produced in the context of a possible earthquake in Istanbul.
