Prof. Dr. Kemal Yıldırım has become the Winner of the "International Golden Design Award"

Prof.Dr. Kemal Yıldırım, who is a lecturer at the Department of Wood Products Industrial Engineering of Gazi University, has become the winner of the Golden Design Award at the Novum Design Awards organized internationally by the Design Award Agency in Finland with his "HexBox" titles design in the furniture design category.

Prof.Dr. Kemal Yıldırım declared the following about the "HexBox", a multifunctional furniture he designed with the hexagonal box project title that won the Golden Design Award:

"HexBox is a multifunctional, hexagonal and movable side/middle table cabinet which can hold books, magazines and folders at it's three sides. With HexBox, which provides maximum storage space and ease of use, various alternatives can be made in different sizes and colours. One of the devices of HexBox was registered (2016/04950) to its designer by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office."
