METU URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance) announced the academic performance ranking of universities for 2020-2021. Gazi University URAP ranked 6^th in the ranking of universities with 166 universities, after Hacettepe University, METU, Istanbul University, Istanbul Technical University and Koç University. Gazi University, Ankara University, Gebze Technical University, Bilkent University and Ege University followed in the ranking.

Urap 2020-2021 Turkey ranking, which summarizes the academic performance of universities this year, used data published by Clarivate Analytics/InCites with Council of Higher Education.
