Our University's Faculty of Sports Sciences, which has become Turkey's pride by training hundreds of national athletes,  has achieved another success. Burak Özdemir, a 2nd year student at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching, came second in Europe after winning a silver medal at the "European Hope, Youth and Under-21 Karate Championship" held for the 48th time in Finland.

Burak Özdemir, who became the champion in the U21 60 kg Kumite style at the Hope, Youth U21 Turkey Karate Championship held in Şanlıurfa in July, successfully represented our country in the Championship held in Finland between 20-22 August.
