Our university has added a new one to university-industry-public collaborations. Gazi University recently signed a protocol with TAI-TUSAŞ to win the practice of TUSAŞ Kazan Vocational High School students on Aircraft Technology program.

According to the protocol signed between our university and Turkish Aviation and Industry Company, students of Aircraft Technology Program at TUSAŞ Kazan Vocational School will receive job training in TAI one day a week and English language training at weekends throughout their education life. In addition, students of the Aircraft Technology Program will receive a scholarship up to one quarter of the minimum wage during their studies.

According to the protocol organized within the scope of university-industry cooperation, students of University of Aircraft Technologies with the quota of 200 people approved by YÖK will receive financial support from the institution throughout their education life as TAI's scholarship students. Students who successfully complete the program will be able to work as TAI technicians after graduation.

TAI, which contributes to the opening of TUSAŞ Kazan Vocational School of Higher Education and strengthening its infrastructure, is planning to make this protocol for the Aircraft Technologies Program in the first stage, for different departments in the future. General Secretary of University and Director of TUSAŞ Kazan Vocational High School Prof.Dr. Metin Dağdeviren said that during the course of the protocol, they will give lessons according to the TAI's needs.

TAI-TUSAŞ Human Resources President Cemal Şenyılmaz expressed satisfaction that Gazi University and TUSAŞ Kazan Vocational School of Higher Education had started in cooperation with scholarship, internship and foreign language education. We believe that the internship and training programs that will be applied to TAI students for the TAI-Kazan University Vocational School of Higher Education program will be an important achievement for both the students and the institution as well as for the country.
