Founded in the beginning of 2022 within the body of Gazi University Faculty of Technology, the Turquoise Team of 15 undergraduate students from Gazi University (Hasan Koska Technology Faculty Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Mustafa Buğra Okurer Technology Faculty Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Burak Kiracı Technology Faculty Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Mert Kaan Koç Technology Faculty Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Arda Ekin Sayın Technology Faculty Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Semih Gümüş Technology Faculty Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ahmet Hekim Technology Faculty Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ümit Çatalca Technology Faculty Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Hakan Çelik Technology Faculty Manufacturing Engineering, Ecem Erbil Technology Faculty Manufacturing Engineering, Betül Öztürk Engineering Faculty Industrial Engineering, Elif Sorgun Technology Faculty Manufacturing Engineering, Hakan Tercan Technology Faculty Computer Engineering and Muhammed Kapukaya Gaziantep University Mechanical Engineering) led by academic advisor Asst.Prof.  Cemil Ocak, achieved great success in the TEKNOFEST Hyperloop Development Competition in "TEKNOFEST Black Sea 2022", which they participated for the first time, with the vehicle they developed with intense work.

Before the competition, the first test drive was conducted with Industry and Technology Minister Mr. Mustafa Varank and the President of TÜBİTAK Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal. The team made a short test drive of 50 meters in the tunnel and received great recognition. The vehicle also attracted attention with its unique capsule design and received the Best Capsule Design award. Furthermore, the vehicle left its mark on "TEKNOFEST Black Sea 2022" by winning the Hyperloop Development Competition and the best presentation award.

Also, faculty of Pharmacy Lecturer Dr. Deniz Lengerli came first in the Doctoral Science Awards Health and Life Competition at the "TEKNOFEST Black Sea 2022."
