Great Success from Gazi University Foundation Private Schools

Gazi University Foundation Private Schools participated in the "TÜBİTAK 52nd High School Students Research Projects Regional Competition (2204-A)",..a reward presentation ceremony held in the Rectorate's New Senate Hall for our students who came in second in Turkey in the field of Psychology.

The ceremony was attended by Our Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Bekir Buluç, Dean of Gazi Education Faculty Prof. Dr. Mahmut Selvi, Gazi University Foundation Private Schools Founder Representative Prof. Dr. Fahri Temizyürek, Gazi Foundation President Muhittin Güney, Gazi Foundation Private Schools General Manager Vacide Kutay and Philosophy Teacher Hilal Özer, our students Aybüke Kaygisiz and Selin Yüksel, and our students' families.

Prof. Dr.  Musa Yıldız said, in his speech, "It was very meaningful for our two students and teachers to carry through such a project, especially during the pandemic period, at the TÜBİTAK 52nd High School Students Research Projects Regional Competition, in which Gazi University Foundation Private Schools also participated. We are proud of our students Aybüke and Selin. We hope to see you in good places in the future.  You will make your family and us proud.

Sharing their feelings after Our Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız's speech,  our students said, "We had a lot of hesitation at the beginning of the process. We had no knowledge of TÜBİTAK projects. We evaluated what kind of process it would be through our Hilal teacher. We started our project about 10 months ago and have come to this day. We had never dreamed of it at the beginning. But after we got into the process, we said yes, we can, we can succeed. We are very happy,". In addition, the families of our students stated that they are very happy and proud of this success.

Vacide Kutay, General Manager of Gazi Foundation Private Schools, in her speech, said, "As Gazi Foundation Private Schools, I hope that we will be ranked in the finals of Turkey by making projects with more of our students next year. Our school, teachers and students are very experienced in this regard. We thank our teacher Prof. Dr. Mahmut Selvi and in his presence, I would like to thank the valuable faculty members of Gazi Education Faculty. We receive the support of all our students, from primary school to the last year of high school, in our studies."

After the speeches, the reward presentation began. Our students who succeeded in the project, Aybüke Kaygısız, Selin Yüksel and Philosophy Teacher Hilal Özer were presented with three sapling certificates and gifts planted in their names within the scope of the reforestation studies of our University by Our Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız.
