Assoc. Prof. Dr. Figen Güner Dilek and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sefer Bora Lisesivdin, who are both lecturers at our university, were granted an award within the High Achiever Young Scientist Rewarding Program (GEBİP) and the Scientific Original Work and Translated Work Awards Program (TECEP) of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA).

While Assoc. Prof. Dr. Figen Güner Dilek, who is a lecturer at the Faculty of Letters Department of Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literature at our university, won the Turkish Academy of Sciences 2016 Scientific Original Work Award with her work titled “South Siberia Altaic Turkish Dialects: Comparative Phonetics”, Assoc. Prof. Sefer Bora Lisesivdin, who is a lecturer at the Faculty of Science Department of Physics, became one of the 31 scientists among the country who received awards within the TÜBA High Achiever Young Scientist Rewarding Program (GEBİP).
