New Partnerships of our University in the International Area

"The Forum of the Rectors of Islamic Countries" organized by the Council of Higher Education for the purpose of establishing a new higher education area between Islamic countries was held on 26-27 July 2017 under the auspices of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The opening session of the forum titled "Creating the Islamic World Higher Education Area"  was attended by President Erdoğan, the Chairman of the YÖK Prof. Dr. Yekta Saraç, the administrators of the ministries and public institutions, Turkish Ambassadors of Islamic Countries, YÖK members, 120  rectors from more than 30 countries in the Islamic geography and rectors of state and foundation universities in our country.  Our Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Uslan was also present at the forum and Mevlana Agreement  was signed with 5 different universities.  

 

Tunisia Zeytuni University

Our university signed the Mevlana Agreement with Tunisia Zeytunî University to enable  the exchange of students and academic staff in the field of Social Sciences, Islamic Sciences and Language Education on common scientific projects. The agreement was signed by  our Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Uslan and Rector of Tunisia Zeytuni University Prof. Dr. Hichem Grissa. Tunisia Zeytunî University is one of the oldest and most established universities in the world, founded in the 9th century, where the famous scientist Ibn Khaldun is a graduate and teacher, and so it  is of great importance in terms of Islamic geography.

 

University of Science, Engineering and Technology of Bamako-Mali

Our university  also signed the Mevlana Agreement with the University of Science, Engineering and Technology of Bamako-Mali, whose  rector is Prof. Dr. Adama Diaman Keita, in the framework of scientific projects to enable the exchange of students and academic staff in the field of Medicine, Health Sciences, Engineering and Social Sciences. The university is the aforementioned university in Saharan Africa, especially in the field of vaccine research (ebola), public health, information systems, molecular biology and bioinformatics and it  is the foreground as the promising university in the field of genetic researches carried out jointly with the USA. Also, it has  the important Bioinformatics Center of Excellence  in the areas of  molecular biology and bioinformatics.

 

Morocco Sultan Moulay Slimane University

Mevlana Agreement was signed with Morrocco Sultan Moulay Slimane University whose rector is Prof. Dr. Bouchaib Mernari, to enable to exchange  the students and academic staff in the field of Engineering and Social Sciences within the framework of common scientific projects. Sultan Moulay Slimane University, located in the Khenifra-Beni Mellal region of the Kingdom of Morocco, is known for its international research in climate change, international migration, local governments, applied mathematics and cultural studies.


 

Niger Niamey Abdou Moumouni University

Mevlana Agreement was signed with Niger Niamey Abdou Moumouni University, whose rector is Prof. Dr. Habibou Abarch,  to enable the exchange of students and academic staff in the fields of medicine, health sciences and social sciences  under the joint scientific projects. Niamey Abdou Moumouni University Research Hospital is particularly prominent in the areas of child and maternal health, public health and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, African history, anthropology and cultural studies.

 

Algeria Oran I Ahmed Bella University

Mevlana agreement was signed with Algeria Oran I Ahmed Bella University in the field of Engineering, Medical and Social Sciences to enable  the exchange of students and academic staff and joint scientific projects. Oran I Ahmed Bella University, located in Oran (Vahran), the second largest of Algeria and Africa and the Mediterranean Basin, has begun training in the Department of Turcology in the academic year 2017-2018. Besides,  it is known for its important international research in the fields of renewable energy and photovoltaic systems in cooperation with Japan.

Our university also signed the Mevlana Agreement with South Korean Hankuk and Hansung Universities.

 

South Korea Hankuk University

Our university signed the Mevlana Agreement with Hankuk University to enable  the exchange of students and academic staff  in Engineering and Social Sciences within the framework of joint scientific projects. Hankuk University which teaches 45 foreign language courses is ranked as the 36th in the field of language education in the order of QS in the wolrd and it is ranked as the 6th university in 334 universities of South Korea in engineering and social sciences.

 

 

South Korea Hansung University

Gazi University recently signed the Mevlana Agreement within the framework of joint scientific projects with Hansung University, one of the leading universities of South Korea's Capital City, Seul, to enable exchange of students and academic staff in the fields of Engineering, Science and Social Sciences.
