Call from Gazi University Rector Prof. Dr. Uslan to scientists trained abroad

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Uslan, representatives of five universities from Turkey and academicians attended the TASSA 2018 conference organized by The Turkish-American Scientists and Academicians' Association in Bostan, the USA. In addition, Gazi University opened stands in the conference.

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Uslan said that Gazi University is among the ten research universities in certain areas in Turkey and they develope their partnerships with universities in the USA and he also said that they give importance to such academic encounters.

Prof. Dr. Uslan emphasized that they have established cooperation with the University of Boston and Michigan State University previously and he added; "We met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Satish Udpa, the vice Rector of Michigan State University, and signed up for a double degree doctoral program. We also aim to do joint projects with Boston University under the photonics and life sciences. We have conducted fruitful discussions with Boston University academicians for this purpose. "

Gazi University Rector Prof. Dr. Uslan said: "We gathered together with our young friends who completed their doctorate in the USA to evaluate Turkish people's resources grown abroad. We have invited them to serve under the roof of Gazi University by making fruitful negotiations with them. "

The Turkish scientists who participated in the conference from our country and the USA shared their opinions on many subjects ranging from education, innovation and the situation in the field of science to the responsibilities and activities of the research universities which are applied to specialize in the Turkish higher education system. The evaluation for academic cooperation between the USA and Turkey was also made in the conference.
